Equipped campsites for your road trip!

You are going on a long road trip across our beautiful country? Maybe you don’t feel like staying at the hotel every night. Equipped Campsites with Parks Canada and MEC provide the opportunity to go camping even if you don’t have camping equipment. Or if you simply want to avoid the hassle of organizing and packing everything for your camping trip. You might feel like a little bit more comfort. The oTENTik is a spacious blend of tent and rustic cabin equipped with beds and furniture on a raised floor. Here is a few campsites that provides gear for your family to enjoy!

1- Pacific Rim National Park Reserve (British Columbia)

national parkExperience the beauty and tranquility of Green Point Campground! Green Point Campground is the only campground in the spectacular Long Beach Unit. Green Point Campground was established in 1962. Since then, people from all over the world have come to experience the beauty and tranquility it has to offer.
 
 
 

2- Waterton Lakes National Park (Alberta)

In partnership with MEC, Townsite Campground have three Equipped Campsites available for reservations and nightly rental. People from around the world visit Waterton Lakes National Park. They go there to relax, experience the great outdoors and learn about our natural heritage.
 

3- Elk Island National Park (Alberta)

Located in the Astotin Campground, The five new Parks Canada oTENTik tents offer an easy and relaxing way to experience camping.
“The oTENTik is an A-frame tent and cabin in one that offers a unique blend of homey comfort and a taste of outdoor adventure. It’s a unique concept. Visitors enjoy camping with the comfort of a bed and a campsite already set up and ready to go.”
You can find on each campsites: A-Frame tent with front deck, fire pit, picnic table and 4 Adirondack chairs, screen dining shelter, propane BBQ and accessories, parking for a maximum of 1 vehicle

4-Georgian Bay Islands National Park (Ontario)

island safari tentIsland Safari Tents provide the opportunity to go camping even if you don’t have camping equipment or simply want to avoid the hassle of organizing and packing everything for your camping trip. They’ve got an Island Safari Tent waiting for you; you will need to bring a sense of adventure and your personal items. They provide: a safari Tent (already set up), cots and/or sleeping pads. They also provide camping chairs, small table, and a propane camp stove.

5-Kouchibouguac National Park (New Brunswick)

Located along Kouchibouguac River, South Kouchibouguac Campground gives you access to 25 km of sandy beaches, all 60 km of the park’s network of cycling paths as well as many nature interpretative programs. South Kouchibouguac features 15 oTENTiks and 3 Equipped Campsites.
 

6-Cape Breton Highlands National Park (Nova Scotia)

Cape Breton Highlands National Park now offers 20 oTENTiks between the Chéticamp, Ingonish Beach and Broad Cove campgrounds!  Part tent, part cabin, the oTENTik allows you to enjoy all the excitement of camping outdoors, while providing a soft bed and a cozy roof over your head. Chéticamp Campground and Ingonish Beach Campground also offer five reservable equipped campsites each.
The park provides a tent to fit up to six people, sleeping pads, camping chairs, propane stove, cooking gear, plates/bowls, utensils (including cups and mugs), wash bins, lantern.
